David Lim remembers growing up in Indonesia and having savoury noodles for breakfast from the countless Noodle Shops found on every corner in Jakarta. "It was like a family tradition for us. If we weren't eating out my father loved making noodles from scratch and with this shop I aim to continue his legacy ", says David. In case you are wondering (like we were..), the name Bakmi Lim simply translates to"Noodle Lim".
Tempting Palates was invited to try some of Bakmi Lim's menu items and we loved the care and passion David put into his food. This shop certainly is close to his heart and it shows.
All noodles are made fresh on site with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. Simply choose the noodles of your choice, your favourite toppings and then a side of your choice and your very own noodle bowl is ready to be devoured. On the night we got to try a few dishes on offer.
Whether you are after a quick lunch or a dinner - David and his team will look after you serving up their freshly made Indonesian inspired noodles right here in Adelaide.
