Burger Foundry

It was burger time for us so we paid a visit to Burger Foundry at Torrensville 172 Henley Beach Rd, Torrensville. We have been here a few times and thought on this occasion we would write about our experience. As you walk in, the vibe really screams modern day burger joint all around. It's casual and fun.

Since our last visit we noticed that they had a few more options on the menu which is always good. Today we ordered the Vegan Burger and the Rocky Mountain High.
The Vegan Burger consisted of a sweet potato and chick pea pattie, avocado, vegan wasabi, coriander aioli, tomato salsa, chipotle sauce, mesclun greens and caramalised onions. This burger was pure deliciousness. The pattie was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The coriander aioli, chipotle and wasabi gave it the saucy texture it needed. We aren't vegan but fell in love with this beauty instantly!
The Rocky Mountain High is for meat and bacon lovers. It consisted of sweet caramelised onion, thick tomato slices, crispy smoked bacon, matured cheddar cheese, rocket and aioli. This was a very tasty and juicy burger. Although it's not the best burger we've tasted it certainly passes any good burger test.
The only downfall of Burger Foundry in our opinion are the chips. We aren't fans of the limp and oily chips but this seems to be the style here. The chips lack crunch and without some kind of sauce taste pretty plain.  Unless you like your chips that way we suggest to just stick to the burgers!
The Burger Foundry experience is a good one if you want to stop for a quick bite to eat and choose from a good variety of burgers without feeling the guilt of getting fast food from a burger chain. They have healthy options as well as good old favourites. The service is friendly and the staff were happy to serve us along with sharing a few laughs.
